Any part of the Service may be reviewed and amended from time to time, and we will let you know by posting information about any changes on the Site. You agree to be bound by these Customer Terms by using this website. Please refrain from using the Services or any portion of them if you do not agree to these Customer Terms.

Accessing our Service
We retain the right to discontinue or change the services we offer through the Site at any time and without prior notice, and access to the Services is only granted temporarily. If any of the Services are unavailable at any time or for any length of time, we won’t be responsible for it.
We reserve the right to sometimes limit access to any or all of the Services to users who have registered with us. We treat all of the personal data and other information you give us in line with our Privacy Policy. You agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy by sending us any such personal information or other data.
If you select or are given a user identification number, password, or any other piece of information as part of our security measures, you are required to keep such information secret and are not permitted to share it with anyone. If in our judgement you have disobeyed any of the terms of these customer terms, we have the right to disable any user identification code or password, whether selected by you or issued by us, at any time.
Guidelines and further information for customers purchasing cakes with photographs.
- Select a picture, considering the cake on which you are requesting us to put it and with the writing, you propose. Also, ensure that most square cakes use a landscape picture with the message written below.
- While keeping in mind that we cannot manipulate or improve the image, the image must be checked for clarity, focus, red-eye, etc.
- To avoid pixelation, it is recommended that the picture data file be as large as it can be, especially for bigger cakes.
- If you wish to include more than one photo or text, you can do so as long as you create the composite image using your own programmes, such as Photoshop or Publisher, and email it to us as a JPEG file. Other formats, including PDF or Word documents, cannot be processed by us.
- When ordering online and there is no opportunity to upload the picture, please WhatsApp/email the image to the store contact number/email address. If you run into problems, call the branch.
- In the absence of your instructions, the cake decorator may choose to clip off “uninteresting” portions of the image.
- The cake decorator’s judgement will be used to determine where to place the handwritten note and the photo.
- Even though we employ the most up-to-date printing technology, we cannot guarantee that the print colours will match those of any other items.
- You accept full responsibility for the use of the image(s) you give us, and you hold us free from any allegations of copyright infringement. You also agree to be fully responsible for securing the necessary authorizations from individuals before using their photographs.
- As the sugar paper disintegrates into the cream below, images on it begin to lose quality over time. This means that wherever feasible, image cakes should be swiftly collected and used.
Disclaimer of Warranties and limitation of liability
- To the maximum extent permissible by relevant laws, we expressly disclaim any liability for damage of any kind caused by your use of the Service.
- The Site is offered “as is” and “as available,” and we fully disclaim any express, implied, and statutory warranties to the maximum extent permissible by law.
- Nothing included in these Customer Terms shall restrict or exclude our liability for fraudulent misrepresentation, for wrongful death or bodily damage brought on by our carelessness or the conduct of our agents or employees, or for any other liability not permitted by law.
How contracts are formed between the customer and 7 Star Cake Ltd.
Every order you place shall be understood to constitute an offer by you to acquire the products and/or services stated therein, subject to the Customer Terms and the relevant information on the product page. Until we (working as the seller’s commercial agent) send an email acknowledging your order, it won’t be declared accepted by the seller. The customer and Seller’s agreement will only cover the items and/or services mentioned in the email order acknowledgement.

The whole content of the website, including but not limited to text, graphics, and scripts, is the property of 7 Star Cake and is protected by copyright under the United Kingdom and foreign copyright laws as collective works. To place an order with 7 Star Cake or buy 7 Star Cake items, you are allowed to electronically copy and print elements of this website. You may view and, subject to any expressly stated restrictions or limitations relating to specific material, download or print portions of the material from the various areas of the website for your own personal, non-commercial use, or to place an order with 7 Star Cake or buy products from 7 Star Cake. Except as expressly permitted by 7 Star Cake, all other uses of the material of this website, including its reproduction, distribution, exhibition, or transmission, are strictly forbidden. Additionally, you agree that any proprietary notices from anything you download from the website will not be altered or removed.
Payment methods
Only debit or credit cards, as well as any other payment method we may occasionally make available, may be used to pay for the products and/or services you purchase from Sellers using our payment facility. The Vender additionally promises that if you have legitimately paid us for the things, it will not pursue any remedy (legal or otherwise) against you. Every price must be displayed in the relevant currency and paid for in that currency. You agree that some transactions may result in extra fees from some banks (for example, international transactions). You agree that item pricing in the advertised currencies does not change based on where you are located; delivery costs change based on where you want the item delivered.
Refusal of transaction
In our sole discretion, we reserve the right to refuse service to anybody at any time or refuse to execute a transaction for any reason. If we reject your request or cancel or pause any transaction after processing has started, we won’t be held responsible to you or any other parties.
Delivery arrangements
Only specific stores provide delivery. The branch you are using must be coordinated with this.
Return and cancellation:
Refunds will not be offered for cancellations made less than 24 hours before cake pickup or for cakes that are not picked up, regardless of the cause. Uncollected cakes will be destroyed within 24 hours of the collecting period for hygiene reasons.
Please contact the Franchise directly by phone or visit the branch if you wish to discuss or arrange a return, exchange, or refund of any non-cancellable item purchased through the Site. Your request will be accepted in line with our Returns & Refunds Policy.
Cakes created to order must be picked up on the scheduled day. Custom order cakes begin to be prepared as early as 48 hours before pickup. Therefore, it is quite improbable that the merchant will be allowed to cancel your purchase if you attempt to do so within 48 hours of the pickup time.
Wedding cakes and novelty cakes are exempt from the above-mentioned restrictions and require a seven-day cancellation notice. Formal notice must be provided either by phone or in person at one of our branches. Any notice submitted within the seven-day window is not eligible for credit.
Cakes can only be returned for a refund if they are uneaten, unsuited for eating, or not as detailed in the original quote. If only a portion of the cake is returned, or if the buyer changes their mind, their money will not be refunded.
Viruses, hacking and other offences
By adding viruses that are malicious or technologically hazardous, such as Trojan horses, worms, logic bombs, or other such items, you are prohibited from using our Site or any other aspect of the Service in an inappropriate way. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website, the server where it is housed, or any server, computer, or database that is linked to our website. Neither distributed denial-of-service attacks nor denial-of-service attacks on our website are permitted.
According to the Computer Misuse Act of 1990, you would be in violation of this clause if you did so. In the event of a breach, we shall notify the appropriate law enforcement agencies and work with them by providing your identity to them. Your permission to use our site will instantly end if you violate one of these terms.

This website and all of the items and content on it are given “as is” and without any representations or guarantees, either explicit or implied. 7 Star Cake disclaims all warranties, explicit or implicit, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a specific purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. 7 Star Cake does not guarantee or imply that the website’s features will operate without interruption or errors, that errors will be fixed, or that this website, its server, or other elements are free of viruses or other dangerous elements.

The foregoing limitations may not apply to you because certain US jurisdictions do not allow limits or exclusions on implied warranties.
Limitation of Liability
Even if 7 Star Cake has been made aware of the possibility of such damages, 7 Star Cake shall not be liable for any special or consequential damages resulting from the use or the inability to use the contents on this site or the performance of the goods. Typographical Errors
If a 7 Star Cake product is inadvertently posted at an inaccurate price, 7 Star Cake maintains the right to refuse or cancel any orders made for such product. Regardless of whether the transaction has been confirmed and your credit card has been charged, 7 Star Cake maintains the right to refuse or cancel any such orders. If your order is cancelled and your credit/debit card has already been debited for the purchase. The erroneous price will be deducted from your credit or debit card account by 7 Star Cake.
Waiver
A waiver by us of one default does not imply a waiver of any more defaults in the future. Any waiver by us of any of these Customer Terms must be expressly declared to be a waiver and given to you in writing in order to be effective. If at any time we fail to enforce the strict execution of any of your responsibilities under these Customer Terms or if we fail to take any other action that would have given us the authority to do so. Force Majeure
Where we or a Seller are prevented from or delayed in carrying out obligations under these Customer Terms due to circumstances beyond our or the Seller’s reasonable control including, without limitation, strikes or other labour disputes (whether or not relating to the Seller’s workforce), governmental actions, acts of God, war or national emergency, riot, civil commotion, fire, explosion, flood, inclement weather, epidemic, lock-outs, or restraints or delays affecting carriers or an inability or delay in obtaining supplies of adequate or suitable materials then either our or the Seller’s (as the case may be) performance of its obligations shall be suspended for the period of time that the circumstances continue.
Indemnification
You acknowledge that 7 Star Cake, its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and suppliers (collectively the “Service Providers”) are not liable for any losses, expenses, damages, or costs (including reasonable attorney fees) resulting from any violation of these terms and conditions or any activity related to your account (including negligent or wrongful conduct) by you or any other person accessing the site using your Internet account
Rights of Third Parties
The Contracts (Rights of Third Parties Act of 1999) or any other legal theory shall not apply to the enforcement of any provision of these Customer Terms by any third party, including any employee, officer, agent, representative, or subcontractor of the Vendor.

The consumer must accurately specify the criteria for the cake when placing the purchase. The customer is in charge of making sure the receipt has all the necessary instructions. This includes the size, colour, and design number they selected, as well as the date, time, and precise wording of the handwritten inscription on the cake. Before leaving the store, any mistakes must be reported to our personnel and fixed there.
It is necessary that the person collecting the cake verify that the cake and any writing, including spelling and colouring, are appropriate. Furthermore, this need to be a mature adult who has had the proper training. Modifications made after collection will incur fees and could even be rejected since they might not be feasible without extensive re-building.
Cakes need to be picked up on schedule and eaten within 24 hours. Cakes that are not picked up on time will only be stored for a maximum of 24 hours, and the store will not be held liable for their state when picked up later.
Customers must verify our stores’ opening times. There will be no need for store employees to stay open until closing time to wait for consumers to pick up their purchases. In the same vein, workers won’t contact or text customers to remind them to pick up their uncollected cakes.
Customers should be aware that cake decorators and shop managers operate in an atmosphere that is hectic and stressful while attempting to manage sharp fluctuations in demand. Customers should be aware that there is no procedure in place to compensate them in the unlikely event that the cake is not delivered at the time the receipt is generated for pickup.
Cakes will be prepared as soon as possible by the time agreed upon and noted on the order receipt, the store staff will make every effort. Any additional or resulting damages (parking tickets, hall fees, defamation, etc.) incurred after cakes have been collected are not the shop’s responsibility.
It is the customer’s obligation to transport the cake home. It must be carried flat and getting it to the car normally takes a committed person using both hands. After that, it was laid flat in the car’s trunk without any other items nearby. Claims for cakes that have migrated in the box owing to improper carriage will not be taken into consideration.
Fresh cream cakes must be promptly refrigerated after leaving the store, and this is the responsibility of the consumer. If these cakes are not kept chilled, they will go bad in a few hours and much sooner if they are left in a hot car. The client is in charge of making sure they have the tools necessary to carry the cake safely home and have access to a refrigerator big enough to hold the cake once it gets there.
Cream and icing colour dyes are edible and safe for consumption but may temporarily stain mouth, hands and body, and also PERMANENTLY stain dresses carpets and furniture. It will be the customer’s responsibility to warn guests and guard against children accidentally soiling clothes and furniture. The shop shall not be liable for laundry charges or damages due to staining.
The shop does not guarantee an identical duplicate of the cake in the menu photo. All menu pictures (on the internet, in-store, or brochures) are solely for guidance.
Cakes covered with cake batter can have wire, plastic, or wooden sticks inside to hold up figure models or reinforce the cake’s overall structure.
All cakes made in our bakeries are subject to photography and usage for marketing and promotional reasons. All created photographs remain our property, and we have the right to show them as we see fit. Without your consent, we will not sell any of your photographs.
Governing jurisdiction
English law shall apply to the interpretation and application of these Terms. The courts of England and Wales will have sole jurisdiction over any disputes relating to these Terms.
Complaints
Most cake alterations and corrections, including typos in the inscription, may be done on the same day. You must give us this chance and notify us of any issues when the cake is picked up or delivered.
At the time of collection or delivery, any inquiries regarding aesthetics or design must be notified right away. We take complaints very seriously since they are quite uncommon. It could be necessary to look into certain concerns further, and it might not always be able to respond right away. To ensure that we can properly evaluate the nature of the complaint, cakes, or portions of cakes, must be returned to our branch as soon as possible after pickup. The cake has to be in a condition that will allow for more research, evaluation, and testing.
